mi-id exists to explore how personality traits inform and drive interests, attitudes, beliefs and opinions. Our work encompasses both market research and personnel selection.

WHO ARE WE?

mi-id comprises a group of academics and professional market researchers with a wide range of specialisms, all of whom are also experienced business consultants. Our principals are:

Dr Adrian Furnham is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Organisational Psychology Unit at University College London. He has written over 650 scientific papers and 55 books including Culture Shock (1994), The New Economic Mind (1995), Personality at Work (1994), The Myths of Management (1996), The Psychology of Behaviour at Work (1997), The Psychology of Money (1998), The Incompetent Manager (2003), The Dark Side of Behaviour at Work (2004), The People Business (2005), Personality and Intellectual Competence (2005), Management Mumbo Jumbo (2006), Personality and Intelligence at Work (2007) and Head and Heart Management (2008).

Dr Thomas Chamorro-Premuzic is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Goldsmiths, Univeristy of London and is an expert in personality and intelligence. His research covers a wide range of applied topics such as the prediction of school and job performance, and has helped with understanding the causes of inter-individual differences in relation to vocational interests, consumer preferences, subjective well-being and interpersonal relations. Dr Tomas has already worked at several leading universities (UCL, LSE, Bath, Kings College, and NYU) and authored more than 50 scientific articles and 4 books. He is also an active consultant to organisations in both public and private sector.
